Working as Consultant to “LEGO Afghan Logistics Company, Afghanistan” for setting up 3500 TPD green field cement plant in Afghanistan. The scope of work for the project includes:

a) Preparation of Pre-qualification documents (PQD) against international tender announced by Ministry of Mines & Petroleum (MoMP)-Afghanistan.
b) Preparation of complete RFP document including technical & financial details as per prescribed standards of World Bank and IFC by MoMP Afghanistan.
c) Led the negotiation team for finalization of cement contract with MoMP. The major components of Afghan negotiation team were SRK Exploration-UK and Mayer Brown International LLP-UK.
d) Site selection and documentation for lease acquisition.
e) Detailed geological study including drilling and reserve verification in reference to quantity & quality.
f) Preparation of tender document for selection of plant & machinery
g) Ordering of plant & machinery
h) Complete supervision of quarry development.
i) Raw material mix design and detailed report for suitability of raw material for the plant.
j) Head hunting and arrangement of training programme.
k) Supervision of plant erection including local fabrication and civil work.
l) Establishment of School of mines & earth sciences as per requirement of Govt. of Afghanistan.
m) Commissioning of plant till commercial production.

Location: Punjab and Balochistan Client: Fauji Cement Co. Ltd
Working as consultant to Fauji cement with following scope of work:

A. Desktop studies:
i. Study of geological maps & data available at Mining department, GSP and other sources/departments
ii. To study the geology & rock formation of the area To study the water availability of the area and its surroundings
iii. To study the topographic sheets for marking of area

B. Field visit/Reconnaissance Survey:
i. Field survey of following earmarked potential areas: *Zinda Pir-DG Khan *Bostan-Balochistan *Loralai-Balochistan
ii. Collection and analysis of channel samples (limestone and clay) of each potential area for Raw Mix.
iii. Analysis of availability and specifications of Gypsum, Laterite and Coal
iv. Initial reserve estimation and minability study
v. Report on site justification regarding infrastructure, raw mix suitability, availability of local coal, water availability etc., and
commercial feasibility for suitability of cement plant.
vi. Go ahead for lease application.

C. Preparation of lease application and supporting documents for Government departments
i. Pre-feasibility studies
ii. Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) Report
iii. Preparation of supporting documents for lease application
