Project Description
Worked as a Partner with “Australasian Continental Energy Pty Ltd Australia (AACE)” for an integrated mining & power project. The project involves opencast mining of 18 million tons per annum of coal & 3000 MW of power generation.
Key features of the project were based on the following three stages:
- Mining Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS)
- Coal reserves to JORC standard (confirmation)
- Extraction process
- Mine Design
- Plant design
- Equipment and infrastructure requirements
- Environmental issues
- Financial viability
- Hydrogeology
- Social Impact Studies
- Alternative processing methods
- Mining operations were planned for uninterrupted coal supply for power generation.
